Introduction
Before making a stained glass project, it is important to know its intended emplacement and to have a clear idea of the function it is intended to perform, this to be able to chose the best materials. One obtains very different results depending on whether one uses hand blown glass, “antique” glass, or using industrially-made glass, imprinted with different designs. The aspect of the glass will vary according to the material used to assemble the pieces of glass: lead, copper foil, fortified cement, epoxy resins or silicone glue.
